Embossed color postcard showing dirigible in flight at sunset or sunrise. On front of card: "Nulli Secundus". British Army Dirigible No 1, christened Nulli Secundus (Latin: "Second to none") was a semi-rigid airship. First flown on 09/10/1907, it was Britain's first powered military aircraft. No message on reverse, but magazine clipping, © 1914, of mustachioed man in profile is pasted over message and address areas. Part of the Raphael Tuck & Sons' Educational Series of Post Cards No. 406, "Aviation". Color. 3½"x5½".
