Catalog for exhibit "Sky Fighter of France: paintings of battles in the air by Lieutenant Henri Farré, December 5-16, 1918, at the Horticultural Hall of Boston - World War I Aviation Collection

Catalog for exhibit "Sky Fighters of France", December 5-16, 1918, at the Horticultural Hall of Boston. The catalog advertises this as a "French official exhibition of paintings of battles in the air" by Lieutenant Henri Farré, "Observateur Bombardier, au Premier Groupe d'Escadrille de Bombardment". Farré was the offical painter of the French Army and Navy. The frontispiece and title page take the place of pages 2-3. Harvard College ran a concurrent exhibit of approximately 300 photographs of New England aviators who served in the Great War (more than 1/3 of the photographs were of Harvard men). It holds several WWI-related collections in its archives, many of which can be viewed online.
