|Scope & Content||
B&W 8"x10" photograph of crowded horse-drawn coach, Long Island, circa 1930.
Open carriage holds at least eight people, including driver (per Lawrence "Bud" Woodworth, driver is almost certainly his father Frederick Woodworth). The driver is holding a whip, and behind him to the left a man is holding up a coach horn. Four horses draw the coach, which appears to be of British design; the driver sits on the far left, English-style.
Stamped on the reverse: "Please credit Freudy Photos, Inc., 1432 Broadway, N.Y.C.". A phone number and notice of restrictions of use of the photo follow but are so faded as to be illegible in many parts.
|Condition Notes||Some fading and minor cracking at edges/corners.|
