(3) B&W photographs of Alan Bemis' Rolls-Royce glider tow, later owned by Samuel Eliot. The car had been chopped and modified with plexiglas windows. One photo shows front elevation, and two show side elevation. One of the side elevation photos is of Anne Eliot Hiatt standing outside the car with one foot on the running board; the man in the car may be her husband. n.d.; 1940s. Tow wagon bears sign reading "Miller Hill Farm". |
